INF NEPAL

Established in 1952,
International Nepal Fellowship Nepal (INF Nepal) is a Christian Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), registered in Kaski district and affiliated with Social Welfare Council. INF Nepal has been implementing health and community development interventions through Health Services department; Green Pastures Hospital, Surkhet and Banke Clinics and through four Community Development Clusters (Banke, Dang, Jumla, and Kaski), and District Branch Offices in targeted areas. Each Cluster has been managing two to three districts. Community Clusters implement the interventions of CHD, CBR, Nutrition, MCH, HIV and AIDS and Migration Support work, Disaster Response & Resilience (DRR) and Integral Mission (IM). Similarly, Health Services Department’s Green Pastures Hospital, Banke and Surkhet Clinics manage the work of leprosy, SCI including general disabilities, fistula, palliative care, Ear Service and outreach, hospital support services, and some others clinical works. All structures have been running smoothly and implemented planned activities successfully.

Life in all its fullness for poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal.
Mission: INF is a Christian organization existing to serve people of Nepal particularly the poor, disadvantaged people and communities in their holistic development by demonstrating God’s love and concern.

 

STRATEGY

INF Nepal works to bring sustainable improvement in the health and development of individuals and communities, primarily through direct implementation but also through partnerships with government and community organisations, including churches.

 

GOAL

The goal of the organisation is “sustainable improvement in the health and quality of life of the people of Nepal, particularly the disadvantaged, by contributing to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper (PRSP)”

INF NEPAL BOARD


 


INF Nepal is governed by the Board that oversees the work of the organisation as steward. It provides leadership, direction and guidance to the management of the organisation. The Board consists of 9 members plus one Advisor. The Executive Director serves as Member Secretary and NCO Director as Advisor.

Audit Committee
The Board has delegated the authority of financial control to the Audit Committee. The Treasurer of the Board is the Chairperson of the Audit Committee and the Finance Director is Member Secretary. This committee meets twice a year and reviews the financial statements, the internal and external auditor’s comments, and performances.


MANAGEMENT

CECT
Central Executive and Coordination Team is a sub-committee of the Board delegated to oversee day to day management of the organisation. It facilitates and ensures better coordination for CDD and HSD and to make decision on central function. CECT is comprised of the following:

IIFS Management Committee
INF Initiative for Financial Sustainability (IIFS) MC is a Sub-committee of the Board responsible for the overall directions and management of IIFS.

HSSC

Health Services Strategic Committee (HS-SC) is a sub-committee of the INF Nepal Board [INB] delegated to oversee the strategic management of INF Nepal Health Services Department. This work is carried out under the supervision of the Executive Director and direction and guidance from the Board. It supports the Board in long term strategic planning, reports and makes policies recommendations to the Board through the Executive Director. The members shall be as follows:
